Stakeholder engagement

We are building the network with 5 elements of engagement:

1) International engagement

2) Strategic organisational engagement (for example with Chief Executives, and Royal Colleges of Surgeons and Physicians)

3) Project engagement (with other initiatives and projects in Scotland and the wider UK - to avoid duplication of effort and share information and resources)

4) Practitioner engagement (for example we've conducted a needs analysis of training requirements in remote and rural areas, and seek to promote the work of the Scottish Clinical Skills Network for those involved in CS training), and

5) Public engagement (for example Heartstart courses for members of the public will be available through the mobile skills unit)
